Measure the closed tray, not the artwork preview

The printed component here is a paperboard sleeve around the lower part of a clear rigid tray. It is not a sticker on the lashes and it should not obstruct the hinge or clasp. Ask the packer for a closed filled tray, mark the safe wrap path, and measure the full perimeter with the plastic lid seated. Leave a controlled overlap on the underside or back.

A flat proof can make the band appear perfectly square even when the clear case has rounded corners. I would request a folded sample on the actual tray before choosing the final cut length. If the pack changes to a hanger card or sealed pouch, that is a different dieline and should be quoted separately.

Let the visible count and printed count agree

The example shows two distinct pairs above the sleeve and prints “2 PAIRS” on the front. If a brand offers single-pair and multi-pair versions, the tray cavities, count line and artwork filename should be checked together. A buyer should not have to open the case to discover that the image and quantity disagree.

The eye icon gives category recognition, but the product name does the real work. Keep any style name, colour or variant code in a consistent position. Do not turn a decorative eye illustration into a claim about wear time, comfort or suitability.

Choose the sleeve stock for handling and display

The sleeve is likely to be picked up by its edges and may rub against neighbouring packs. The selected board, print and finish should be reviewed on a complete sample. Avery Dennison’s paperboard labelling overview lists end use and appearance among selection factors; it does not qualify this particular tray or sleeve.

I would check that the copper decorative line is still legible under store lighting and that the opening motion does not crease the product name. If a tamper feature is required, specify it separately rather than making this display band do a job it was not designed to do.

Send a quote brief built around the finished case

Provide the filled closed tray, external dimensions, closure position, sleeve wrap direction, overlap preference, approved name and count, print files, version quantities and packing method. Ask for a flat proof and one complete assembled sample. The responsible brand supplies any market-specific product copy.

The sheet-mask sachet guide covers a flat flexible pack; the brush-set carton guide covers a rigid board box. Neither is a substitute for checking a clear hinged eyelash tray.
