Keep the label below the screw lid
Measure the straight sidewall on the actual closed tub. Leave room beneath the lid skirt and above the bottom radius. A label too high can be scuffed each time the cap is removed; a label too low can wrinkle around the base. Check where the shopper or packing operator naturally grips the container.
The illustration uses a sidewall wrap and a printed roll. It is not a lid seal. If the project also needs a tamper feature or a top label, price and test that as a separate component with its own approved artwork.
Give the back panel real space
The front should make “Dishwasher Powder” easy to recognise. The responsible brand team must supply the actual directions, warnings, ingredients or other market-specific text for the back; a printer cannot infer them from the product category. The generated image intentionally does not supply usable dosing instructions.
Before reducing type to fit, check the planned label width on the tub. If approved copy is too dense, use a larger panel or a separate back label. I would not hide important information behind a decorative plate icon.
Evaluate the material with the filled pack
A powder pack may collect dust while a kitchen pack may meet damp hands. UPM Raflatac’s household-product label overview explains why chemical contact and use conditions matter to label selection. That does not promise this construction will work on every HDPE tub. Request a printed, applied sample and inspect the seam, rubbing and readability in your intended handling conditions.
If the label will be applied to a filled tub, ask when surface cleaning happens in the packing sequence. Adhesive performance cannot be judged from a photograph of a clean empty container.
Brief the full tub, not the old pouch
Send the tub dimensions and resin, lid style, panel measurements, approved copy, quantity by artwork, and roll-machine requirements if applicable. Specify whether there is a separate lid or bottom label. Ask for a digital proof and an applied sample before bulk print.
