Choose the sleeve before the band length
The image shows six scored wax squares inside clear protective sleeves, with paper bands around the centre. A band measured on the unsleeved bar will be short once the sleeve and its seam are added. Make a paper mockup around the fully wrapped pack, including the point where the sleeve is sealed or folded.
Keep the visible product identity on the front and put the overlap where it will not cover that name. If the packing line folds by hand, measure how much variation the band can tolerate; if it is machine wrapped, ask for the feed and fold specification.
Treat scent as a controlled field
The illustration uses three colours, but it deliberately does not make up scent promises. For a real range, keep brand and product name in fixed positions and change the approved scent name or colour cue by SKU. Proof every variant against the order list before printing. A similar band that differs only in a tiny line is easy to pick incorrectly during packing.

Plan the information panel without inventing warnings
The front band can carry the product name and visual system, but the responsible brand team must supply any required market-specific product, handling and safety copy. Do not copy a jar candle warning into this format simply because both products use wax. Check whether the back of the band has enough legible space or whether a separate information insert is needed.
I would approve a printed, folded sample on a finished sleeved bar and review both front and back. The simulated illustration is not a substitute for that sample and makes no compliance claim. Our candle information-label guide
Quote the band as a packaging component
Send the bar and sleeve dimensions, number of scored squares, wrap direction, seam position, band width and length, paper preference, approved copy, SKU count, quantity per version and packing method. State whether the band uses an adhesive closing tab or another closure. Each changes the quote and the test.
I would spend sample time on a band that stays square, closes consistently and leaves the wax visible. Foil or texture can wait until the geometry works.
