Place the front label on a stable bottle wall
Fit the final screw cap and measure the straight sidewall below the shoulder and above the base radius. The pictured construction is a pressure-sensitive front label on an opaque bottle, not a full-body sleeve. If a separate back panel will carry directions, reserve its area before committing to the front width.
I would request a labelled sample on the chosen bottle resin. A rectangular artwork file can hide the fact that the shoulder begins earlier on one supplier’s mould. The seam and grip area also affect where the roll label should stop.
Do not invent directions or cleaning claims
The example front says only the brand, “IRON DESCALER” and a volume. An iron-and-drop icon identifies the intended category; it is not proof that a product is safe for all irons or removes a particular deposit. The brand owner must supply approved ingredients, use directions, warnings and market-specific information for the real formula.
If a front panel shares space with that information, test physical-size legibility rather than shrinking mandatory copy into decoration. The washing-machine cleaner sachet guide
Select construction for actual contact conditions
This bottle may be handled near an ironing station with damp hands. UPM Raflatac’s household-product label overview
Ask the label supplier to recommend face stock, adhesive, ink and protection based on the actual bottle, fill process and likely handling. I would inspect edges and print after representative use conditions, without assuming “waterproof” from a synthetic face stock alone.
Prepare a product-specific quote package
Provide a filled bottle and cap sample, sidewall dimensions, resin, approved front and back copy, any variants, print quantities, and manual or machine-application details. For roll application, include core, gap and unwind. Request a printed applied proof on the actual container.
The front artwork should help a purchaser identify the product at once. The back-panel copy and actual product validation are separate responsibilities; neither can be inferred from an attractive label mockup.
