Plan for wet hands and frequent handling
Pump bottles near sinks are exposed to splashes, residue and repeated wiping. Film materials such as BOPP or PET, paired with a suitable laminate, are common starting points for wash care packaging. The right adhesive also depends on whether the bottle is HDPE, PET, glass or a refill pouch, so provide a container sample or clear photo when requesting a quote.
Give the front label one clear job
At a glance, the buyer should be able to identify the brand, product type and scent or variant. Keep this front-label hierarchy consistent across foaming hand wash, gel soap, lotion and refill formats. Use a restrained color or icon system to distinguish variants rather than redesigning the complete label for every SKU.
Separate customer-facing and operational information
The front label supports recognition; the back or side panel can carry directions, net content, barcode space, batch fields and market-specific copy. Leave enough quiet space around codes and variable data. Your regulatory and quality teams should verify the final claims and required information for each market before the order is released.
Consider refill packs as part of the same range
Refill pouches may need a larger panel, more flexible material and a different application sequence, but they should still look like part of the same family. Check the finished label before production
