Wool Wash Bottle Labels: Let the Variant Lead on a Small Laundry Shelf

Measure the front panel below the shoulder

The pictured bottles have rounded shoulders and a broad central panel. That central panel, not the total bottle height, sets the possible label size. Check the bottle's mould seam, grip areas and base radius. If a back label is planned, measure its usable area separately rather than assuming front and back match.

Apply a plain printed sample to an actual filled bottle. Its label edges should stay away from the steep shoulder and any finger contact point used to pour. A PDF cannot show how a label bends over a real HDPE surface.

Make two variants one family

The invented LOOM design keeps brand, product name and yarn-loop motif in fixed positions. Cedar uses warm rust; Unscented uses slate. The words are readable without asking the small decorative icon to carry the whole distinction. If the seller later adds a third variant, keep the grid and change only the approved variant fields.

Do not let scent illustration become an unapproved formula statement. “Unscented” in a live product would need to be true; here it is a hypothetical sample name. Directions, dosage and any precautions must be supplied by the responsible brand team for the market where the product is sold. A printer can help fit copy, not verify the contents of a bottle.

Choose a construction for handling, not for a mood board

The surface may be handled with damp fingers and stored near other laundry liquids. Price a suitable face material, adhesive, print and finish together. The Avery Dennison home and personal-care overview discusses materials for household packages; it does not guarantee this label will survive a specific formula. Request an applied sample and agree on handling checks.

If the bottler uses automatic application, obtain the machine's roll direction, core, gap and maximum roll diameter. If labels are applied by hand, a sheet option may deserve a quote. The cheaper printed unit can become the slower packed unit.

Write the quote as two artworks

Send filled bottles, panel measurements, cap and application details, approved copy, Cedar and Unscented art files, quantities per variant and any back-label designs.
