Build the long pack before measuring the band
Use two finished taper candles and the final protective sleeve. The pair should be aligned, tips protected and base ends stable before measuring width and circumference at the band position. Do not apply the printed band directly to bare wax; this example places it around the clear sleeve.

Put the join where it does not interrupt the name
A paper belly band can use an overlap and closing method chosen for the packing line. Put that join at the back of the clear sleeve, not across the centre of the product name. Ask the packer to handle a few finished samples: the band should stay square without squeezing or shifting the two candles.
If there are several candle colours, keep the typography and band dimensions consistent and change the approved colour cue or variant field. I would not ask warehouse staff to distinguish two SKUs from candle colour alone once packs are boxed.
Reserve a real information area
The decorative front is not a substitute for approved product, handling or market-specific safety text. The responsible brand team should provide the wording and decide whether the back of the band has enough space or a separate insert is needed. Do not copy a jar warning mechanically onto a taper pair.
Quote the sleeve and band as one system
Send candle length and base diameter, sleeve dimensions and closure, band width and wrap length, material preference, approved artwork, colour variants, quantity per version and packing method. State whether the band is adhesive-closed or otherwise secured. Request a printed band on a complete sleeved pair before bulk approval.
I would pay attention to the band join and alignment before asking for foil or embossing. The best-looking flat strip is not the best finished pack if it twists around the sleeve.
