Begin with the real clear bottle
Measure the straight wall between the rounded shoulder and base. The full height of the bottle is not printable space. On a transparent pack, place a paper strip where the proposed label will sit, then turn the filled bottle through a full rotation. Check the seam, cap opening and the view through the back of the container.
I would ask for both front and back panel dimensions, even if the artwork will share a material. A front label can be generous while a back panel has to leave the contents visible. If a buyer wants a transparent label, printed colour may need an opaque white layer for contrast; if they want predictable readability, an opaque panel can be the simpler brief. Our clear cosmetic label guide explains that trade-off in more detail.
Keep the product name visible in bathroom light
The invented MERA design uses a droplet and coral wave, but “Micellar Water” remains the first useful line. That is a packaging decision, not a claim about what is in the bottle. On shelf, translucent liquid and reflections can reduce contrast. Ask to see a printed swatch against the actual filled pack under ordinary retail and bathroom lighting.
Do not copy tiny ingredient text from a mockup. Formula, directions, net contents and market-specific wording must come from the responsible brand team. The generated image deliberately shows only an illustrative front design; it is not approved regulatory artwork.
Choose material after handling conditions are known
A micellar water bottle may meet damp hands, splashes and repeated cap use. Request a label construction and finish to evaluate on the filled PET bottle. Avery Dennison lists conformable film options for contoured personal-care packaging, but a material family is not a performance guarantee for this formula or container. Apply and handle a physical sample before approving production.
If a machine applies the label, send the actual applicator specifications: core, unwind direction, gap, maximum roll diameter and application orientation. A lovely PDF proof cannot reveal a seam landing on the most visible part of the bottle.
Send a quote brief that can be priced accurately
Provide the empty and filled bottle photos, resin and surface finish, front and back dielines, each artwork version, expected quantity per design, and the intended application method. Ask the printer to confirm white-ink or opaque-panel choices, proof steps and whether a physical sample is included.
The practical split is simple: let the brand own product statements; let the printer check print, fit and production. The label buying guide collects the remaining quote fields. I would not order a clear label from a screen image alone.
