Build a clear hierarchy for every SKU
The front label should let a shopper recognise the brand and product type quickly. A useful sequence is brand name first, product type second, then the variant, size or key benefit where space allows. Keep the structure consistent across the collection even when the bottle is small. On a dropper bottle, the product name may need to be shorter; on a cream jar, the front panel may give you more room. Consistency comes from the hierarchy, not from forcing identical artwork onto every package.
Choose the format around the container

Use color to separate variants without losing the brand

Many brands retain a neutral base and change one controlled element: a color band, product-name color, ingredient illustration, finish accent or small icon. Before production, view all variants together. This makes it easier to spot two similar shades, unreadable small text or a single SKU that looks unrelated on shelf.
Material and finish should support the product position
Matte film can suit minimalist skincare and soft-touch packaging; gloss film can add color impact; clear material can leave a transparent or tinted bottle visible. The right choice also depends on bottle surface, handling conditions and how the labels will be applied. A bottle photo, container material and finish reference are more useful for quoting than a material name alone.
Prepare one proof set before approving production
Ask to review a proof set containing each SKU, not only the first design. Check the full collection at the actual label sizes. Confirm front and back orientation, barcode position, bleed, safe area, color distinctions and the spelling of every variant. If bottles, jars and boxes are all included, review them together to make sure the collection reads as one brand family.
