Keep the label inside one flat panel

The label should not bridge the lid hinge or tuck flap on a box that customers may open and keep. Assemble the actual carton, place the trimmer and insert inside, then mark the stable front panel. The tool silhouette can be tall and clear without the label wrapping a moving edge.

Avery Dennison's cardboard-label guidance

Let the product name explain the silhouette

“Candle Wick Trimmer” is the main line. The drawing of the long-handled scissors reinforces it, while a small candle outline establishes the category. Do not rely on an illustration alone: a shopper should not confuse the box with a candle snuffer or a gift accessory set.

This is an accessory box. It should not borrow jar-candle warning copy mechanically. The brand owner is responsible for any product, handling or market-specific copy that actually belongs on the trimmer package.

Proof the pack with the real tool inside

A metal tool and fitted insert can press the lid or change how the carton closes. Check that pressure before signing off the front label. A flat proof catches a spelling error; an assembled sample shows whether the edge stays clear of the opening motion.

I would also compare the closed box with the brand's matchbox packaging and candle gift boxes. A related visual system is useful, but this narrow carton needs its own dieline.

Send a concise quote brief

Provide the actual trimmer dimensions, box and insert samples, flat dieline, board finish, front-label panel, approved copy, quantities, application method and any variant names. Ask for a printed, applied sample on a complete box.

I would resolve flap clearance and the tool count before considering foil or textured stock. Buyers notice the finish; packers notice when the label tears on opening.
