Start with the open box
Measure the actual mini jars with lids fitted and the internal dividers in place. Decide where labels are visible when the box opens and where they are visible when jars are removed. A label must stay on the jar's usable straight wall, clear of the lid thread and base radius. A large front label may wrap out of view on a small vessel.
Check the outer box or sleeve after it has been erected and closed. A separate applied set label should not bridge a fold, lid joint or removable band unless that function is deliberately designed and approved. If the box supplier directly prints the sleeve, compare that route with an applied label for changing set combinations.
Use one system with four distinct jobs
Keep brand, scent name and decorative mark consistent on the three mini jars. Give each scent a controlled icon and colour, then repeat the scent names clearly on the outer box. The illustrated foliage and fruit marks are visual cues; they do not certify fragrance ingredients or natural wax content.
One buyer may want a fixed trio all season. Another may assemble different combinations for retailers. Those are illustrative planning cases, not reported orders. For the fixed trio, one outer-box artwork may be enough. For changing trios, the outer label needs a version map and a clear packing check. The apparently cheaper option can become expensive if every combination produces a new box and a new opportunity to mis-pack.
Keep safety information in its approved place
The brand's responsible team must determine the market-specific candle instructions and warning content. This article does not supply substitute safety wording. A small jar front is usually not the place to improvise a safety icon, nor should a discovery-box mockup imply that the set has passed a standard or burn test.
Ask which information belongs on each vessel, any base label, and the outer pack. A digital proof can establish wording and layout; it cannot establish label adhesion to warm or textured glass, and it cannot validate candle safety. Use the assembled sample for placement and handling checks. The candle warning label guide gives a separate artwork checklist while still leaving regulatory decisions to the responsible team.
Quote the set as components and versions
In the enquiry, list jar-label dimensions, three scent artworks, any base labels, outer-box label, quantities for each design, box material and application method. Request one physical sample of the complete open and closed set, not just a flat sheet of labels. Check that each jar label can be read in its divider, the outer set description matches the packed trio and the label edges remain tidy after normal handling.
Explore other candle and fragrance label formats, then send the box, jar and artwork details through the YT Labels quote form. The goal is not simply four attractive labels. It is one set that the packing team can assemble correctly without having to guess.
